About Tern & Hound

For the long way home. And the good rest afterwards.

Tern & Hound is a considered edit of dog walking essentials and comfortable things for home. We bring a practical eye to the choices that can otherwise become surprisingly complicated: which size, which fastening, which fabric, and what you actually need.

Useful first. Good-looking, too.

A coordinated walking kit should still work on an ordinary Tuesday. A beautiful bed still needs enough sleeping space. We organise our range around those everyday decisions, rather than asking you to work through an endless catalogue.

Our starting point is straightforward: clear product information, an understandable choice and helpful guidance. You'll find harnesses, leads, walking bags, beds and blankets, brought together around walks and time at home.

An independent edit, not our own manufacture

We select products from other brands. We name the brand on each product page so you can see exactly what you're choosing. Products are intended to be dispatched directly by our supply partners, which means a mixed-brand order can arrive in more than one parcel.

That is why delivery information belongs alongside product information, not hidden at the end of a purchase. Read our delivery and returns information before ordering.

Guidance without the guesswork

Our buying guides help you compare the details that matter. We distinguish manufacturer information from our editorial judgement, and we don't describe a product as personally tested unless it has actually been tested.

There is no single best harness or bed for every dog. Fit, everyday use, your dog's preferences and the available space all matter. Our job is to make those choices clearer.
